‘Out of the Darkness’ is here primarily for two reasons, the first to

serve as an online repository for my music/poetry/writing work.  The second simply to make

that material available to interested parties.

Why ‘Out of the Darkness’?, again two reasons, the first is that pretty much everything here will have a dark or if not obvious sublime theme.  Horror, Supernatural and

Sci-fi have been lifelong friends to me as you will gradually discover from my blogs, and listening to

much of the audio material.

The second reason (and one you won’t generally hear me talk about, unless I have a particularly frustrating time with some piece of gear/software and the manufacturer needs berating!)

is that I’m blind, I have an inherited degenerative eye condition called ‘Retinitis Pigmentosa’ or RP as I like to call it.  I’ve had it all my life, it’s now at the stage where I am registered blind but still

maintain some light perception.  The good news is that it doesn’t really bother me, it’s made me who I am, for better or worse shape my personality but at the same time presented opportunities

in ways that I would never have expected or experienced had I had normal vision – anyway I digress, so hence ‘Out of the Darkness’ being a metaphor.

I hope that you enjoy at least some of the content that you will find here. It will continue to grow and will form an archive for my creative endeavours.
