today 27th January 2015 commemorates the 70th anniversary of the liberation
of auschwitz.

As a tribute I’m posting this monologue I recorded for Secklow Sounds radio
station a couple of years ago.

The writer Michael Campbell wrote this moving story about the thoughts of a
young girl on a train journey bound for Auschwitz.

I think it captures the innocence and at the same time stark horror that
befell the many victims of that terrible place.

Listen and remember the lives that were needlessly eradicated, and hope that
this n ever happens again.
